Community Circles

What is a community circle?

Our ecotherapy community circles are guided group gatherings held outdoors, designed to help you slow down, alleviate chronic stress, and find mutual support in nature and one another. Each circle offers a thoughtful blend of gentle reflection, somatic grounding practices, and open sharing in a welcoming, nonjudgmental space. You don’t need any special experience, just a willingness to practice outdoor mindfulness and be present. Together, we learn from the rhythmic wisdom of the natural world and the shared stories within the group. Whether you come seeking deep stress relief, mental clarity, or mindful connection, you’ll leave feeling more centered, seen, and supported by both nature and community.

Who can join these gatherings?

These gatherings are open to anyone who feels called to slow down, disconnect from daily pressure, and find a little more peace. You don’t need any previous experience with meditation, outdoor mindfulness, or nature-based therapies—just curiosity and a willingness to be fully present.

Our ecotherapy community circles are intentionally designed to be especially supportive for individuals navigating chronic stress, corporate burnout, anxiety, or major life transitions. They offer deep stress relief for parents and caregivers seeking authentic rest, professionals overwhelmed by constant demands, or anyone craving somatic grounding and genuine human connection.

Whether you join us alone, with a friend, or as a deliberate part of your mental health and personal wellness journey, you’ll be welcomed exactly as you are. These circles are inclusive of all backgrounds and physical abilities, featuring gentle practices that support nervous system regulation and can be easily adapted to meet you where you are, both in body and in life.

What activities are included?

Each Community Circle includes a blend of simple, grounding activities that help you reconnect with yourself and the natural world. We begin with guided breathwork or somatic grounding to arrive fully in the moment, followed by gentle movement and body-connection practices that support nervous system regulation. You’ll also experience targeted outdoor mindfulness tools and observational meditation, all tailored to the theme of the gathering, along with time for quiet reflection or group sharing. Every circle closes with a moment of gratitude or intention-setting, helping you carry lasting stress relief, balance, and mindful connection back into your daily life.

Where do the circles take place?

Our ecotherapy community circles are held in various nature-based settings around Boulder County and the Denver metro area, each chosen for its sense of calm, beauty, and accessibility. Gatherings may take place in local parks, forested trails, open spaces, or quiet garden areas—intentional spaces where the natural world supports deep reflection and mindful connection without distraction. Each location is selected with care to ensure easy access, nearby parking, and gentle terrain suitable for all experience levels, making it ideal for stress relief and mental restoration.

Whether it’s the sound of wind through the trees, the warmth of the sun, or the somatic grounding feel of earth beneath your feet, every setting becomes a living part of your healing journey, supporting vital nervous system regulation right where you are.

How do I book a spot?

You can reserve your spot directly through the booking buttons on our website. Once your registration is complete, you’ll receive an email with location details, what to bring, and any additional information for your chosen session. Just sign up, check your inbox, and get ready to reconnect with nature.

What should I bring to a gathering?

Bring yourself, your curiosity, and a willingness to slow down. Most circles take place outdoors, so it helps to dress comfortably for the weather, including layers, a hat, or rain gear if needed. You may also want to bring a water bottle, journal, and something to sit on, such as a blanket, cushion, or small folding chair. All other materials for the session will be provided. Most importantly, come as you are, there’s no special equipment or preparation required, just an open heart and readiness to reconnect with nature.
